About Larry

Larry Geoghegan

Larry Geoghegan L.M.T.

Larry graduated from the Massage Institute of New England in 1995 and has been in private practice ever since. He continued his education with Tom Myers and graduated with the first group of certified Kinesis Myofascial Integrationists (KMI).

KMI is specialized training that is based on the theories and practical applications of Ida Rolph, which was later added to by Tom Myers and is now called Anatomy Trains Structural Integration (ATSI). This work is used to treat those who have long pursued conventional avenues of healing without success.

KMI or ATSI uses myofascial patterns to deeply explore pain patterns and address long-standing pain, restriction, or injury. Larry conducts a postural and functional analysis and pairs it with deep tissue massage. He specializes in helping to problem-solve long-held pain patterns or injuries that haven't been resolved. The treatment is not geared toward relaxation but focuses on improving mobility and function.

STAY LOOSE is his hope and intention for those he works with.

Larry treats many athletes of varying levels, both young and old. He approaches everyone with true enthusiasm to " improve the quality of your life and your relationship with gravity. "

Larry studied other techniques in addition to KMI including:

  • Visceral Manipulation

  • Yamuna Ball Rolling

  • 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training

Larry grew up locally on Sunshine Farm in Sherborn MA. His family farm is now run by his brother, Jim, who is a local gem for fresh produce and ice cream. Larry is a proud father of two, an avid motorcycle enthusiast, and a die-hard New Englander who adores the outdoors. Skiing is his winter passion. He is also an eclectic music junky! Various genres of musical offerings can be heard coming from his treatment room.
