Be Well & Stay Loose

A well-balanced life is a major part of what makes a healthy body. Larry and Shannon do not preach anything that they do not live. They firmly believe a balanced life full of healthy food, friends, thoughts, and experiences will help you to
BE WELL & STAY LOOSE.

Below is a list of some of our favorite spots and recommendations:

Buy fresh, buy local!

Eating a diet full of organic fruits, vegetables, and whole grains is essential for a healthy body. That doesn’t mean you can’t indulge in the occasional comfort food - it’s all about balance! Purchasing local produce is a great way to support your community. Check out some of our favorite farms below!

The Sunshine Farm Natick, MA

The Sunshine Farm

41 Kendall Ave, Sherborn, MA

This farm is near and dear to our hearts. Larry's brother, Jim, is the farmer and their grandfather started the farm over 60 years ago. They have a wonderful ice cream stand, fresh produce, pick-your-own-veggies and now offering a CSA (Crop Share Association).

Other places to buy fresh, buy local:

The South Natick Community Farm

117 Eliot Street, Natick, MA

Lookout Farm

89 Pleasant St, Natick, MA

Get outside!

Heard of Forest Bathing? It’s a wellness technique where you walk slowly and deliberately outside with your bare feet. You can use it to regroup, clear your energy, relieve stress, and ground. Below you will find a list of our favorite places to walk!

Garden in the Woods
A local gem in Framingham MA. A botanical garden featuring the native plants of our region.

Elm Bank Reservation
Beautiful gardens and trails along the Charles River in Wellesley.

The Wayland Woods

Land of the Trustees
Beautiful paths, safe, dog-friendly, and feels a million miles from route 9!

The Waterfront in Boston
One of our favorite walks in the city! Park by the Barking Crab, walk over the old footbridge, and down to the waterfront path behind the Boston Harbor Hotel. The path continues all the way up to the New England Aquarium (stop and visit the seals in the outside tanks). You can continue on to The North End if you want to keep going!

The Greenhouses at Wellesley College
These greenhouses are free to the public. Take in some warm air and tropical plants on a cool rainy day for a transformational experience.

Eat, Drink, & Be Merry

When you spend time with friends, family, and loved ones, you are inadvertently supporting your health. Being social reduces your risk of developing many different health problems including depression, high blood pressure, and obesity. It relieves stress and supports you to live a happy, healthy life.

Wine glass - be merry

The Chateau Dudley
20 Crest Rd, Wayland (Cochituate), MA
A local haunt in Wayland locally known as “The Chat” - great burgers, kid-friendly, and yummy onion rings!

Lavin’s Liquors
330 Old Connecticut Path, Wayland, MA
Family-run and owned, a great place for hand-picked wine selection, craft beers, cheeses, and specialty items for gifts and occasions. The homemade cheese spread is a must!

Wasik’s Cheese Shop
61 Central St, Wellesley, MA
Family-owned and run, high-end cheese selections, wine pairings, and more. A local favorite among cheese enthusiasts and we are fans of the Wasik family.

Go To A Museum

Cultural activities are a great way to connect to your community and a fun activity to do with your friends.

Go to a museum in Boston

The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum
Our favorite museum has finally completed its renovation. The indoor gardens are stunning and the art is wonderful. They have a cafe for lunch, of course, so you can make a day of it if you wish.

NATICK MASSAGE has a carefully chosen list of local, talented health and wellness practitioners. We are happy to recommend someone to you depending on your needs - the list includes chiropractors, physical therapists, acupuncturists, yogis, auto mechanics, hair colorists, dentists, and more.

Feel free to ask for a recommendation.
