Massage Therapy

Larry and Shannon began their practice together as massage therapists more than 20 years ago. At Natick Massage and Healing Arts, massage therapy is used alongside other treatments to help clients relax, reduce pain, and relieve stress. Between them, Larry and Shannon offer several different types of massage including deep tissue, Swedish, sports, prenatal, postpartum, and hot stone massage.

deep tissue massage

Deep Tissue Massage

Larry uses deep tissue massage alongside his structural analysis treatment. This treatment uses long strokes and deep pressure to relieve deep-seated muscle tension.

Deep tissue is best for active individuals, sports injuries, chronic pain, muscle tension, and postural issues.

Deep Healing Massage Therapy

This massage session with Shannon combines a blend of techniques including myofascial release, deep tissue massage, reflexology, aromatherapy, medical cupping, and more to help balance and reset your systems to restore overall health.

sports massage

Sports Massage

Sports massage is specifically designed to relieve the tension from high-intensity exercise, speed up recovery and reduce the risk of injury. Like deep issue massage, the practitioner massages the deep layers of muscle to release tight muscles and help you to relax.

This massage is best for athletes and individuals who practice high-intensity forms of exercise such as marathon runners, road bikers, and dancers.

Post Partum Massage

Shannon is a certified birth doula through DONA International,( although she no longer attends births, she still loves to attend to pregnant clients ). A doula is a labor assistant who provides support for women during their pregnancy, labor, and postpartum recovery period.

Currently, Shannon uses what she learned from her training to better inform her massage sessions during and after pregnancy. Prenatal and postpartum massage provides physical and emotional support through all stages of your pregnancy.

Woman receiving a chair massage

Chair Massage

Chair massage has similar benefits to a table massage, addressing tight and tense muscles in the back, shoulders, neck, and arms. The chair may be preferred in certain circumstances where the client is uncomfortable laying prone/supine - such as during pregnancy. We can coordinate on-site massage therapy for special occasions or corporate events. Please email us with your requests.

hot stone massage

Hot Stone Massage

Hot stones are a type of heat therapy used to relax the muscles and ease stress/anxiety. The heat from the stones penetrates the muscles, increasing circulation and allowing the therapist to work deeper.

Shannon incorporates hot stones in combination with some treatments depending on your needs. If you are looking for a specific hot stone massage session we can recommend a therapist locally for you…
